Appointments are scheduled Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
After hours and weekend emergency service is only provided for established clients. We do not accept new patients on an emergency basis outside of business hours. All emergency calls are assessed an emergency fee.
There is one veterinarian on call after-hours during the week, on weekends, and holidays. Our practice shares emergency duty with Henry River Mobile Veterinary service in Hickory, NC. Please listen to our practice voicemail when you call for instructions on paging the veterinarian on-call. Payment is required at the time of service for emergency visits.
Our farm call fee is based on mileage from our office. We service the following counties if within 45 miles (1 hour drive) from our office: McDowell, Burke, Rutherford, Polk, Caldwell, Mitchell, Yancey, Avery, and Buncombe.
